1st day
Arrival at the town of Paestum
in the late afternoon. Accommodation at the hotel, and meeting with our agent. Dinner, and overnight.
2nd day
Full board service at the hotel. During the morning, guided visit to the Greek temples, and to the National Museum of Paestum. Depending on the availability of time, it will be possible to visit a local cheese factory to see the elaborating process of the famous mozzarella di bufala. During the afternoon, excursion to Agropoli to visit the medieval hamlet.
3rd day
After breakfast, departure to Padula village, and visit of the Certosa of San Lorenzo. Founded in 1306 by Tommaso San Severino, it represents one of the most important architectonic structures in South Italy. The excursion proceeds to Teggiano, with its numerous churches and its medieval historical center. Afterwards, the excursion proceeds to the village of Pertosa, where the Angels Grottos show a particular scenery of splendid stalactites and stalagmites in this unique cave in Italy. Lunch at a restaurant. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
4th day
Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning, excursion to the village of Velia, and guided visit to the Porta Rosa, the most famous monument of the town and maybe of the whole Magna Graecia. Afterwards, visit to the Acropolis. Departure.
End of the tour.
