1st day
Arrival at the place of sojourn in the late afternoon. Accommodation at the hotel, and meeting with one of our agents. Dinner and overnight.
2nd day
After breakfast, meeting with our touristic guide. Departure to the Golden Mile, part of the coast between Herculaneum and Torre del Greco, named that way because of the beauty of its landscape, where stand numerous and splendid 17th century villas. As the noted Villa Signorini, an illustrious 18th century residence, and at the present, lodging place for the House of the Music and The Neapolitan Song and the Museum of Caruso; or also the Villa Campolieto, today an important meeting point of cultural events, and full of signs of Luigi and Carlo Vanvitelli. After the guided visit of the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum, transfer to the hotel and lunch. In the afternoon, ascend to the Vesuvius volcano, reached by bus up to 1,000 m., and on foot up to the crater. Visit to a vini-viticultural Vesuvian establishment and degustation of its wines. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
3rd day
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the seaport of Naples to embark to the island of Ischia. Tour along the island by our G.T. bus service to discover the beauty and charm of the island. Visit to the antique hamlet of Ischia Ponte, with its magnificent Aragonese Castle (optional visit). Afterwards, the tour proceeds to the splendid SantAngelo village, denominated the Positano of Ischia, because of its beautiful landscapes, and its narrow streets and stepped paths, which can be visited just on foot. You will be fascinated by the panorama admired at near 600 m. above sea level from the borough of Serrara-Fontana, that faces the island of Capri. You can also visit the village of Forio and one of the most magnificent sanctuaries of the Campania region: the 18th century sanctuary of Santa Maria del Soccorso. Afterwards, the excursion proceeds through the promontory where the village of Forio rests upon, to reach among the wonderful landscape the village of Lacco Ameno, noted for its archaeological site and its Fungus Rock, a tuffaceous volcanic rock named that way because of its fungus shape.
The island tour finishes at the seaport. During the tour, it has been organized a visit to a farm museum of the wineries of DAmbra, with a sampling of their own wines. Lunch at a restaurant. Return to Naples, dinner, and overnight.
4th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to the Phlegrean Fields with our touristic guide. Visit to the town of Pozzuoli to admire the Flavian amphitheater, the Temple of Serapis, that was an antique market formed by shops facing to a portico, and the Solfatara. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Cuma for visiting the Sibyls Cave. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
5th day
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the A.P.A., exhibition and sale of modern and coral handmade objects. Afterwards, the tour proceeds to Torre Annunziata, with a guided visit to Villa Poppea in Oplonti. Free lunch, and departure.
End of the tour.
We can book the Cymba ferry with transparent hull for excursion to the submerged city of Baia.
It is optional the visit to the Fish Market of Pozzuoli, one of the most important markets in Europe, or the visit to a local winery.
